A Rapid Notification System Using Mobile Text

Dear SCA Families,

We are excited to share that Southwest Christian Academy has upgraded our communication system to include Parent Alert, a rapid notification tool that allows us to send important updates directly to your phone by text message, as well as by email and voice call when needed. This system will help us provide faster reminders, schedule updates, weather announcements, and urgent notifications.

How Text Alerts Will Appear

All school text messages will come from the number 31706 and will begin with:

Parent_Alert: SC-AR

Please save 31706 in your contacts so you can easily recognize messages from us.

What You Need To Do

If we already have your correct mobile number on file, no further action is needed. If your phone number has changed, please contact the school office so we can update your information.  

Important Notes About Alerts

• Please do NOT mark our messages as “junk” or spam. Doing so may block future texts and prevent you from receiving important information.

• Per federal law, each text message will include “Stop to End.” If you reply “STOP,” you will automatically be removed from all school text alerts until you manually resubscribe.  To resubscribe, text the word "START" to 31706.

• Email alerts from this system will come from noreply@pikmykid.com. These messages are legitimate school communications—please avoid unsubscribing so you don’t miss important updates. You may manage your subscription preferences using the link at the bottom of any Parent Alert email.
