English Teacher (Grades 5-12)
Position Overview
Southwest Christian Academy is seeking a strong English educator capable of teaching multiple grade levels from upper elementary through high school. This position includes six sections of English covering literature, grammar, writing, and spelling.
Our English program emphasizes strong writing skills, structured grammar instruction, and exposure to classic literature. Students read approximately four classic novels per year, and the ideal candidate will value traditional literary education while engaging students in meaningful discussion and critical thinking.
This position also includes leadership or assistance in at least one extracurricular academic or student life activity, such as theater, cross-country, or other student programs. Interest and involvement in theater productions is strongly preferred.

Position Overview
Southwest Christian Academy is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and structured Second Grade Teacher for a self-contained classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, a love for elementary students, and a passion for foundational instruction, particularly in phonics and reading development. Experience with ABeka curriculum is a plus.
Strong parent communication and partnership are essential components of this role.

Part-Time Choral Accompanist
Position Overview
Southwest Christian Academy is seeking a skilled pianist and accompanist to support our vocal and performing arts programs.
This position is approximately two hours daily (generally 1:30 PM–3:30 PM), with opportunities for expanded responsibilities depending on experience and interest. Additional opportunities may include elementary music support, theater accompaniment, substitute teaching, office assistance, or band assistance.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable accompanying choirs, musical theater rehearsals, and live performances while supporting directors and student performers in a collaborative environment.

Part-Time Media Specialist
Position Overview
Southwest Christian Academy is seeking a dependable and technically skilled Media Specialist to support chapel services, athletic events, theater productions, and school programs.
This role includes operation and maintenance of sound, lighting, video, and media systems, along with light technology support and leadership of student media volunteers.
The ideal candidate will be organized, calm under pressure, and capable of supporting live productions and school events in a professional and ministry-minded manner.

We are seeking PK2 and PK3 preschool teachers who love working with young children and understand the importance of consistency, patience, structure, and encouragement during the early developmental years.
The ideal candidates will create a warm, engaging classroom environment while helping students develop foundational social, behavioral, and early academic skills.
