SCA Vertical Raise Fundraiser

Dear SCA Parents and Students,


We are excited to announce the launch of our 2025 Vertical Raise Fundraiser! Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised over $20,000 and purchased two new school vans that our students now use for field trips, activities, and athletic events. This year, we are focusing our efforts on a project that will benefit our youngest Lions every single day.

SCA Vertical Raise Fundraiser

This year’s fundraiser will support the renovation of the PK2 Playground. Our goal is to improve the playground by:

​

  • Installing a soft rubber safety surface

  • Adding brand-new toddler-friendly play equipment

  • Painting and upgrading the current structure

  • Adding shade structures for sun protection

  • Creating a cleaner, safer, and more inviting play space for our toddlers
     

Our goal is $30,000, and every dollar raised will go directly toward improving the daily experience of our youngest students.  The total cost of the project is estimated to be approximately $40,000, so meeting our fundraising goal will get us most of the way there!

Fundraiser Dates

  • Setup your Account and Enter Contacts: Right Now!

  • Campaign Start Date: Friday, November 21

  • Campaign End Date: Friday, December 5

 

The first week of the fundraiser takes place during Thanksgiving Break, which makes it easy to share your fundraiser link with family and friends.

How Vertical Raise Works

Vertical Raise is an online donation platform. No selling, no door-to-door visits — just sharing and supporting.


This year we are not using paper lists. Instead, parents (or older students) will create an online account and enter a list of people who care about their child.

 

Vertical Raise will send those individuals a message with a link to donate. Everything is handled automatically.

How To Participate

​Please follow these simple steps (also available at www.swchristian.com/raise):

  1. Go to www.vraise.org/73359514

  2. Upload a profile picture.

  3. Enter 20 valid email addresses or cell phone numbers of family and friends who may want to support your child by November 21st.

  4. Check that the names and spelling are correct.

  5. Vertical Raise will send out the donation messages for you.

  6. You can also share your child’s link on social media or by text message.

  7. If you have participated in a past Vertical Raise fundraiser, you may see some contacts already in your account. You may update or replace these as needed.

Student Prizes

We want to reward students for their participation and effort!


Every student who sets up their account and enters 20 valid contacts will receive:


A $5 Hut Coupon for the snack bar


Every student who has at least 10 of their contacts donate any amount will receive:


One Excused School Day

Top Earner Prizes

We will also recognize our highest achievers in each division:

  • Top Earner in Preschool: One week of free tuition + a toy basket

  • Top Earner in Elementary (K–4th): $150 cash

  • Top Earner in Elementary/Secondary (5th–12th): $150 cash

Teacher Incentives

The teacher whose class reaches 80% participation will receive a $25 gift card, and their class will enjoy a pizza party.

Why Your Participation Matters

Vertical Raise has made a tremendous difference for our school in the past, and this year it will help us create a beautiful, safe, and functional playground for our toddlers. Even if only a few people donate, every contact list helps us reach new supporters and move closer to our goal.
 

Your participation — especially helping your child enter 20 contacts — is what makes the entire fundraiser work.
