SWCA Dress Code
Preschool and kindergarten students are allowed clean, untorn clothing that is appropriate for the season.
Student may not wear shirts or any clothing with "unchristian" messages or logos.
PK4 and PK5 girls should wear shorts under skirts so play on bars and other equipment can be enjoyed modestly.
Closed shoes worn with socks are best suited for preschool and elementary school students who run and play vigorously. However, sandals are permitted.
Students must wear modest hairstyles, clothes, etc. No "unchristian" jewelry/symbols. Final approval is at administration's discretion.
Academy students may not wear any clothing with "unchristian" messages printed. No beer, cigarette, rock or country music message shirts. Also, no jewelry, patches, etc. with occult or questionalble symbols.
Students may wear neat jeans, long pants, and "knee" shorts in appropriate weather. Knee shorts must be no more than one (1) inch above the knee. Please, no warm-up pants. Pants should not be frayed or dragging the ground.
Students may wear sweat shirts, t-shirts, sweaters, etc. Oversized clothing is not permitted. No sagging or oversized pants. NO "gang" culture clothing is permitted. Underwear should not be visible at any time.

All students are asked to wear modest hairstyles, without color streaks, spikes, tails, zips, etc. Wild hair cuts/styles or colors are not permitted.
Girls should dress modestly avoiding low necklines, cut-away sleeves, etc. Extremes in necklines, skirt lengths, skirts with slits, and snug-fitting clothing should be avoided. Shorts and skirt length should be knee length. Students may not wear tank tops. Sleeveless shirts are permitted but may not be cut away. Shirts must be long enough so that no back or stomach shows when hands are raised over the head. Undershirts should be worn if shirt is of questionable length.
Girls should not wear make-up until the sixth grade and then only sparingly.
Girls should wear shorts under skirts if they plan to play on the jungle gym equipment or bars.
Boys may not wear earrings. Girls may wear modest-sized earrings. No other body piercing is permitted. Only two holes pierced per ear, please.
Boys and girls should refrain from wearing hats to school, unless it is "Hat Day".
Guidelines for dress are for ALL SCHOOL-RELATED ACTIVITIES either on campus or off campus, unless specifically accepted. This includes practices after school, athletic competitions, fundraising activities such as carwashes, etc.
No tattoos are permitted.
Boys may not grow facial hair, unless they are in high school and must keep mustache trimmed and neat. No full beards are allowed. (All at discretion of administration)
Parents will be notified should a student be in violation of the dress code. Embarrassment will be avoided if at all possible. Depending upon the violation, parents may be asked to bring a student a change of clothes. Final approval of students' dress is subject to discretion of the administration.
First Dress Code Infraction = 1 Behavior Document
Second Dress Code Infraction = 5 Behavior Documents
Third Dress Code Infraction = Suspension
Fourth Dress Code Infraction = Expulsion
